Heritage & Identity
My practice is shaped by a multigenerational narrative of migration, revolution, and myth. I honor the voices of those who came before me—storytellers, poets, and visionaries—by giving form to their legacy.
This body of work is both personal expression and cultural continuation.
Legacy Project: Translating a Historical Essay
Currently underway is a research and translation project involving a rare historical essay about one of my ancestors — a figure of cultural and literary significance. The work, written centuries ago, offers insight into a lineage of artistry, exile, and resilience that continues to inform my practice today.
The translated essay will be made available as part of this portfolio in the near future.
